still nothing—conversations in my other coaching group (Key5) are happening and we’re all getting some similar feedback that it’s right around the corner.
fingers crossed -
Hey it’s totally in the feel of your kids. I’m personally still finding ways to tweak it in order to make sure my boss are precise.
Personally I don’t want to move on until the rehearsal becomes second nature, so I introduce Wild scrimmages and switch up what partners are doing.
For reference I am still on pass, cut, and back screen and I’ve had 3 practices. Still a challenge to get them to look to score first and then get to the other side of the floor. -

It’s all about getting them to seek action on the opposite side consistently.
Hey, that’s what this FUSION way of practicing is great for… you can MAKE them do it over and over.
There’s too much success that can come with that ‘screen your way out’ and ‘seeking action opposite’ way of playing.
You’re breaking bad habits and coaching up good basketball players.
You got it, coach! You’re doing the B team kids a favor by insisting they learn good basketball habits. Maybe next year they’ll jump up to the A team because they can “think the game” (PGC Terminology there) better than the other kids who may be better athletes. -
Still no word on it…. I believe in these guys, though.
They really love what they do and believe in it–I’m keeping faith it’ll be before Christmas break. -
My lord!
You’ve already got it all in?!
That’s fantastic.
Even before I get it all in I even try my quick hitters against the fusion.
Even then–training the D at a disadvantage for me is a huge benefit once you get into full fusion mode with dribbling/2 balls/etc.Just a suggestion–training might seem redundant but I’d say it’s not going to hurt them to get more reps and more wild scrimmages. This is an offense that doesn’t look the same.
