    Hi,

I got lots of film from my teams playing with the R&R over the years.

    Here’s one from last season:

I’ve been doing fusion with my team with 5x5x5.

Teams A and B start playing 5×5 half court (regular fusion, with the conditions I set prior). Team C does 5×0 on the other half court.
When team A shoots/loses the ball, team B rebounds/steals and practices a counter attack or full court trip to the other basket.
Team C should be now ready (after the 5×0) to play against team A.

When I want to start the wild scrimmage, they just play 5x5x5.
    1) 5×5 (AxB) half court.
    2) If offensive team (A) scores, plays to the other basket against C.
    3) If defensive team (B) gets the ball back, playes to the other basket against C.
    4) back to 1) with A or B x C.

I’ve done this for stretches of 30 minutes+ and it’s great.

As I am at it, I’ll also explain what I figured out to keep continuous action with 11-14 players.
Two teams with 6-7 players each.
They play 5×5 half court and the remaining players wait at the baseline (can be dribbling or doing something else, like helping coaching defense or offense).
When the defensive team wins the ball or suffers a basket, makes the passes to every offensive player to make her shot and then do a full court trip.
In that period, the players who were on the baseline just substitute in.

I found this great to work on communication, as they have to quickly figure out the substituions and readjust defensive matches.

Also tried this one with live 5×5 (defensive players have no balls) with the baseline/substitutes making the passes to the offensive team after the shot/turnover.
