My name is Ryan Johnson. I am the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Valley Point Middle School in Dalton, GA. I have been either a head coach or an assistant coach at the middle or high school level for almost 20 years. In that time I have been a part 2 conference championships, 2 district and region runner-up, 3 third place finishes, and have been a part helping traditionally losing programs become consistently winning programs.  I have had the pleasure of coaching in North Carolina, Tennessee, and now in Georgia.  Throughout my time I have seen, and run, almost every offense imaginable. I have run the Read and React Offense for the last three years with marked improvement each year both in scoring efficiency and wins. I was thrilled to work with Coach Torbett this summer. He really opened my eyes to even more wrinkles.
