Coached youth boys for 8 years and 3 years ago i decided to start a girls team for our homeschool program using read and react offense, i had used it with the boys and scoring went way up, my girls team had 10 girls the first season and only a few girls even knew how to play, now to start this 3rd season i have now 16 girls in the program, 7 Junior High and 9 Varsity, the team looks so much better and girls are getting smarter with the offense, we only won 2 games last year but fully expect to be competitive this year as we have had open gyms all summer, the girls have learned so much easier with this system and our new girls have caught on quickly
