I have been coaching middle school basketball for 5 years now. I started off very inexperienced as my background as a player was one year of middle school basketball and playing intramurals in college. I coach both of our boys and girls teams with one other coach in an area with no youth or beginner programs so our teams usually lack basketball IQ and only basic fundamentals.
