Hi Coaches!

I have primarily coached baseball assisting and head coaching for the past 5 years. Just started head coaching basketball last year so i am new to this whole basketball world. The one thing that is not new for me is my passion and love for this sport. Being the father of two sons, I feel it is paramount that they are surrounded by the correct teachings, positive environment and team chemistry that basketball brings.

Currently, I run a basketball team called Blue Springs Blaze for 5th grade boys. On this team I wanted something different than what the masses are providing to their teams. I want to teach positionless basketball to the boys since that is what the future of basketball is heading. I tried the whole route of running plays for all different situations, playbooks as thick as school books, and changing plays along the way. I confused the crud out of my boys. When I found out about the Read and React, I was sold.

I look forward to conversing with you all as peers and as teachers. I have a lot to learn as a coach and I am excited to soak as much information from the vets of this offense. Looking forward to also bouncing some ideas and thoughts out there as well. This will be a fun experience. Go Blaze!!!
